Nifty EOD 3.10.2011

After considering today's movements it appears C of W4 ended with a truncation at 5024 on Friday dt 30.9.2011 (with 5th subwave of C5 starting at 4953 failing to go above 3rd subwave of C5 which had ended at 5034) and therefore the charts as they appear at the end of W4 would appear as follows:

and subwaves of W4.C are as follows:
http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/7201/nifty31020112.jpg

And as W5 has begun from 5026 for a tentative length of 615(=W1) in 5 waves,
I would count it as:
SW1=5026-4824=202
SW2 in progress--- Target 1=4890

All longs now should have a SL at 4824.

  1. dear guruji,

after u had put the query on truncation, i was

Have a very basic doubt that comes from this observation below:-
    a: 4720 5169 449
    b: 5169 4759 -410 -91.3%
    c: 4759 5024 265 59.0% (less than 61.8%)

    Does a C wave TRUNCATION imply failure of c to do MIN 0.618 x a ??

or, is it that only in this case, as a one-off event,
we have c.5 failing to go over C.3 & at the same time, C has not done Min 0.618xa ??

    Pls advise.

    urs

  2. Dear Shri,
May be you did not go through the full post.
C wave' 3rd subwave ended at 5034 and 5th at 5026 (thereby making the 5th of C truncated).
    C,therefore went 4759-5034 =274 making it 61%
