Nifty:EOD 21.11.2011

Another example of getting caught on the wrong foot. Despite evidence of slowing down momentum on Friday, Nifty kept marching downwards and now:
SW1=5400-5205=195
SW2=5205-5326=121
SW3=5326-4764*
and as this SW3 has a range of 1.62%-425%, it is anybody's guess as to where & when the downmove would stop.
Keep an eye on momentum indicators-- this is all I can say.

    Dear SMR,
    There is no Momentum Indicator which has not failed me.So none is favorite.And ultimately it has boiled down to study of candles--which may sound very crude but thats what helps me the most.Otherwise 5/20 DEMA MACD (for EOD) and 5/30 min(for Intraday) were quite okay.
    Now look at EOD candle of y'day(dt.18.11) and today(i.e 21.11) you shall find what I want to convey.While 18.11 candle looked like a pause in the downtrend(which should have been confirmed by an upmove today),today's candle shows that downtrend is back with a greater momentum.
